Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn., "Thespian", 8 day, time and strike, spring brass movement wall clock, c1910 (3) Ansonia Clock Co., New York, "Reflector", 8 day, time and strike, spring brass movement wall clock, c1886
CONDITION: (1) Mahogany case in original finish has some scattered surface scratches. Original silvered dial has some scratches around the winding arbors. Original tablets. Nice label on the back. (2) Refinished oak case in nice condition. Dial paper has been replaced. Original hands, pendulum and tablet. Remains of a label on the back. Movement is signed. (3) Ebonized case in need of restoration. Part of the bottom bracket is missing along with the right side mirrors. Only one of the beveled mirrors is original. One of the top finials is missing. Paper dial has some surface abrasion. The wrong pendulum bob has been adapted to the rod. Original hands and tablet. Remains of a label on the back.
